In high school I was insurmountably frustrated with how ugly Powerpoint presentations were. Seen above is "Greenpeace" which was the first completed Flash slideshow presentation I put together. Seen on its right are the slides for my graduation project which, fittingly, was about Flash & Actionscript. The template got re-used maybe a dozen times. Adam, on one occasion, copied my design, and frankly I don't blame him. Powerpoint sucks.
The most notable aspect of the Flash Slideshow is its backgrounds. Transparent PNGs were a bit unknown in 2002, and I had found out that I could make a solid colored rectangle change colors behind one to save on filespace since flashdrives in those days were also relatively small.
